A noticeable species on Dartmoor at Venford Moor yesterday. I visited in the hope of seeing a Cuckoo but I didn’t hear or see one. Meadow Pipits were common as you would expect but I was surprised at the number of Tree Pipits that I could hear and with the aid of some cam netting, it wasnt hard to get a few really good photos of both species.
