
A Loggerhead Shrike using the fence line next to the beach to spot small inects on the sand beneath. They glide down to their prey after spotting, sometimes from quite a distance, they return to a high spot, usually where they left from to consume it. They appear to hold a territory because this one has been in the same area for the 20 days of my trip so far.
