We travelled up to Surrey yesterday to visit Jenny's mother in hospital and stopped at Cartgate Services for a break.  Some nice little birds were singing in the bushes next to the car and I put some sunflower and peanuts on the kerb just to kill the time really.  Within seconds Brown Rats were attracted out from the undergrowth… and well now you can see them.. Made me realise how opportunistic they are, these were alomost fearless as well which is quie unusual.
