My new camera is doing an amazing job and I feel that I have turned a corner in my photography.  Almost without exception my photographs are a higher quality.  The detail that I have been able to capture is incredible and I am very excited about it.  All I can say is thank you Pentax!  I feel that I have been loyal to them as  camera manufacturers and I have not always been satisfied with my results, but now…….. well let theses few pictures speak for themselves.

I have always liked Dunnocks, they are an interesting and common species that people don't really pay a lot of attention to.  They are a bit drab from a distance but these pictures may show some of the lovely feather detail that they possess. Their eyes are particularly attractive. In addition, they are very promiscuous!  One male will run with several  different females and vice-versa.
