Nutty
My trip to Chard Reservoir proved to be a lot of fun. The sun however disappeared almost on our arrival and as I made my way to the Hide  I was hoping to get a glimpse at least, of the Red Throated Diver. It  was unfortunately, in the distance at the opposite end of the lake. I had no chance of a photo let alone even a sighting and that was the end of that. But, on the way in I had seen a feeding station that was like an aviary!  Marsh Tits, Nuthatches and all the usual common garden species were coming and going in profusion. I was like a child in a sweet shop as I snapped away and managed great Nuthatch photos. These are such lovely birds, every time I get a close look at them, when ringing or watching them visiting feeders, I am always really impressed.
