Along with great sightings of the Bairds sandpiper posted eralier here are some ringed Plover photos that I am so very pleased with. This is a little bird that can be such a lovely little bird and very photogenic.

Stunning images, I saw Ringed Plovers at North Cave last week, nowhere near close enough for shots of this quality though, I’ll keep dreaming!

Hi Neil, these were from the car window and then believe it or not, I got out the car and inched around on my elbows to get down the their level. …. with a broken collar bone that was no mean feat.
