One of those really beautiful Tanagers that you see in Ecuador commonly.  They will gladly come down to fruit feeders and offer brilliant photo opportunities. The males and females look the same but I think the males are more intensely coloured This one was photographed at Satchatamia Lodge one lunchtime as I sat and ate lunch outdoors, overlooking the feeders there. A perfect, lovely bird!
