Out at Black Hole Marsh last Friday, as well as the Curlew Sandpiper which was a nice bird to photograph, I also took some great shots of the Greenshank that seem to be a regular bird here. This is a nice species that is very pleasing on the eye and I always enjoy seeing them. Interestingly I photographed one on the beach in front of my hotel in Gambia, West Africa back in March this year.
