In really bad light and the rain yesterday. I eventually couldn’t remain in the house anymore! Not only have we had just the most diabolical weather with almost constant rain, I have also been suffering with an ear infection which has kept me out of action. Yesterday it eased a little…. both the rain and my ear! I went out to the marsh at Bowling Green Topsham where I had read that the water was really high and it had moved the birds closer tot he hide. I was hoping for Avocets but they were still a little too distant for any good photos. But good to see the Godwits starting to moult through in to their breeding plumage.
