It's been almost impossible to get out and about this last 4 days, the weather has been just too wet.  I did spend a few hours in the hide on Tuesday and hardly saw a bird, not even a Blue Tit. In between showers today I had another go, a few more birds appeared including Nuthatches and a Green Woodpecker calling nearby but it was so wet and muddy I was frightened of damaging my equipment.  On top of that this very annoying Grey Squirell just wouldn't go away and every time I chased him off, of course that was bound to disturb the Buzzards who sit watching from quite a distance checking that all is well before they come down to feed. So, eventually the rain will stop and things will return to normal!
