An adult Swallow at the stables

The morning session was a more disapointing than normal due to the appearance of the female Sparrowhawk again who flew past me at speed pursued from the barns by all the Swallows and Martins.  This time I could see that she had made a kill for certain, she carried a young bird in her talons.  This had a bit of an effect on the Swallows  as you expect. Up until that point they had been very happy too perch on the low fences.When  I came home for a break and coffee I had a quick look at a few photos taken and the nicest was the adult Swalow above.  Now for Jays back in the wood……… check back later.
