In keeping with my previous entry I have included photographs of one of our most common birds, admittedly a bird in  decline but never the less familiar and commonly seen. A bird taken for granted and hardly even looked at by most people. However, I am interested in getting  good photos and if the Common Starling was on the savanahs of Africa we would pay 1000's to vist to get photographs! I watched a large, noisey flock feeding on Blackberries yesterday, something I hadn't seen before and tried really hard to get photos of them flying in and out.
