My favourite garden centre, Orchard Nurseries is on the road to Tedburn St Mary from Exeter.  John. the owner is a great bloke who has always got time for a chat and a joke.  Swallows are nesting in his sheds and storerooms and there is a nest on a low beam in his wild bird food storeroom which is ironic.  At the moment, the birds are either incubating eggs or have very tiny chicks but when they are about to leave the nest or on the day they fledge, I am hoping to get some good photos.   At the moment though, I had to be content with this shot, taken with flash, of one of the adults sitting nearby.
