It would be hard to say how rewarding it was to get these photos this afternoon.  When I had visited the river last evening, it was dark and hard to get a good photo, so with better conditions this afternoon, I thought I would have some success. So I sat by the river in the Gillie Suit and covered in scrim netting.  Grey Wagtail was the first to show…….. always good to know that your camo is working.  A Kingfisher flew past, so much more impressive than any photographs can convey.  Suddenly, there was the baby Dipper right in front of me. I took lots of photos and I have judged these as the best.
