Nothing exciting to add today due to a lack of success on the photographic front.  I did need to make "an entry"  just to record the days proceedings. It started with a visit to the Alphin Brook hide at 8 this morning and in really good light I was set up for "in-flight" shots but that was not going to be successful if there's  no Kingfisher to photograph and that is the way it panned out.  I came home at 9 and then, after lunch, went to the River Teign for a Dipper session.  Although I saw the Dipper on my arrival and then a litle bit later, once I was set up. It was unproductive as far as photos were concerned.  So, back home and when evening had arrived I went back to the Alphin Brook hide.  A wren was very close by and then just as it was almost dark the Kingfisher flew past me calling loudly, turned 360 degrees and came back to the perch. She stayed perched  for less than 10 seconds, dived once to bathe and then flew back up the stream.  So she is still here with me but she not "playing ball" today.
