Moor/More Dippers
IMGP6619
I know that I am going to get much better photos of this Dipper, but I thought I would post these from late this afternoon and early evening. This bird has a territory and I have seen him , or could be a her. on three days running.  I am getting to know it’s habits and favourite rocks. Yesterday it had come very close to me but I made a total hash of the photos to be honest. So having thought it through a bit since, I went back and had the camera set up in a better way.  However, he wasn’t quite so accommodating today and didn’t come to my side of the River. The photos are acceptable though, and even though they have been cropped, are probably the best Dipper images that I have got so far.  I have not been feeling my best today, some kind of virus thing but I have tried to ignore it and get on with things. My Kingfisher was a no show this morning, apart from a noise flash by, so I know she is still in the territory.  Talking of Kingfishers there was one out on the Teign today, again another noisy fly by.
