As you know if you read the Blog regularly, I love it out on Dartmoor and last Thursday was a great trip in the really bright sunshine. I managed to bump in to some really good birds and got a few tremendous photos. Reed Buntings are not a rare bird and often seen here in Devon. I often see them on Dartmoor and it  always surprises me when I see them in this environment, high  up and hilly as it is.  Males are very easy to identify and I suppose females too if they are seen in the company of their mate.
