Yesterday I managed, at last to find a few different species of Warblers. I have seen Black and White Warblers here before in Florida and also in Central America so when I caught sight of one, creeping quickly through the branches, I knew immediately what I was seeing. They are a fascinating little warbler with habits reminiscent of a nuthatch species, they are capable of moving down a a branch head first.
A closely related bird was a first for me yesterday and It gave me a big thrill to get a few nice photos of a Blackpoll Warbler, feeding as it was on a Sea Grape.
I also took photos of a female which confused me at first, but with the aid of a good field guide, I was able to deduce the species and it was perhaps obvious that they would be migrating together.
