This morning the Grackles were performing in a very entertaining way. I sat and watched them going about their business, feeding and squabbling as well as displaying to each other. One particular individual took a dislike to what I assumed to be other males and proceeded to engage in some acrobatic stand-offs. This gave me some great opportunities for real action shots. Grackles to me, are synonymous with South Florida. They are noisy and very noticeable and their songs, calls and clicking "shouts" are very exotic to me.  Whenever I hear them I am reminded of all the good natural experiences I have had here.
