Something a little bit different today. I have taken even more photographs of Redwings this morning s and also an unusual visitor for the garden, a Song Thrush. In the past as common in gardens as a Blackbird but sadly we rarely if ever see them in my garden any more. But today when taking photos of the Redwings I focused my camera on what turned out to be the first Song Thrush in my garden for at least 10 years! With lovely sunny weather, but also bitterly cold I went out to Turf to have a look for Avocets and other waders. Eventually I managed to get close enough to one to get a photograph but they certainly are difficult to approach.
