Just to say that my operation was a success. All nice and pinned and back in my favourite chair in front of the TV and Mac.

Always a funny story, and    I was as high as a kite after the op. When the night staff came on one of the nurses Phil turned out to be a wildlife nut and as he took my pulse he said it was racing. We were talking about bats in the garden and how lovely foxes really were. Another sensible nurse told me to calm down as it was making my pulse rush. She hooked me up to an ECG machine which by now was normal and they realised that watching wildlife is a really exciting business for me!

In loads of pain but my Angel is preparing one of her special meals, I have ordered Stubbs Guide to Uk Hoverflies which is due to arrive tomorrow….oh and the Drone Fly Eristalis Interupta from Sunday is my 19th Garden Hoverfly species…… lots to keep me amused.  My favourite Collared Dove was waiting to be fed and Goldfinches are already down on the feeders…….. god I want to live forever!
