I went out in the evening to see if I could bump in to a dog fox that I had been told is a regular visitor to the rabbit warren by the Alphin Brook. I got “way laid” though by the Wren family photographed yesterday. Today they were a little more in the open and at one time I seemed to be surrounded by baby wrens! They were in the dark undergrowth making photography hard and because they were so close, even more difficult. I have to say I love the photo above but in real life they were even more attractive. I never did see the fox!

There was also tantalising glimpses of a Garden Warbler and a Chiffchaff perched right in front of me. Lots more to explore and discover there I feel.
