I had been trying all day to catch the male Siskin in just the correct pose and doing something interesting, every time Siskins came on to the feeders the sun went in and it just wasn’t happening, then at around 2.30 with the sun disappearing rapidly behind the house we were left with a bit of a dull scene. Then he came down and I adjusted the camera to get this shot and I have to say that I am really thrilled with it, one of the best I hope you agree with me.
