I watched this Carrion Crow this afternoon. Not often do crows allow you to get close, as I watched it regurgitaded a ball from the throat the way that owls cough up pellets of indigestable food. If you look close you can see on the mantle, thats the are between the shoulders, new bluer feathers but still brown juvenile feathers remain. This would indicate that this is a post-juvenile bird about to go through it’s first winter.
