It took a good wait today before the Osprey showed at Powderham this morning, but I can confirm that there are certainly two. Both seen simultaneously this morning at around midday. After swooping around the main pool as though it was going to fish, one perched in the same dead trees and after a minute or two took to the air, caught a thermal and climbed very, very high and then flew up the Exe towards Exeter. The other one did the same and disappeared towards Haldon at the same time. Wether they return again, who knows. Here is the best photo taken today, another poor effort!
