I am particularly pleased with this picture. I took a series of shots yesterday of the same species, probably the same birds and having studied the pictures I returned today with a few ideas for improvement. Of course chance plays a big part, you have to have something to photograph and then the bird needs to come near enough with the light bright enough and you in a good position with sun behind preferably . The camera has to be set up properly and then you need to hold the camera still on the tripod and have a fast enough shutter speed to “freeze” the action. There is a lot to come right When it does it is very satisfying! I had a really good morning and took good photos of a Turnstone as well as Oystercatchers in flight.
