With a bit of bright sun it was a good opportunity to go on to the Estuary at Cockwood near Starcross to see if there were any waders within good photo range. There were a few Oystercatchers, some with very interesting colour rings. You can see this in the photo. I am pretty sure that it will be relatively easy to decode the information on this ring and if anyone can help then please email me. In the meantime I have to comment on my lucky shot of this Egret which was not as warry and easily “put-up” as is normally the case. Very pleased with this photo never the less.
