This is a test page to explore the addition of video to the blog. Glad to say that it is successful so watch out in the future for video inclusions to accompany my posts. The weather this morning was clear and stormy, we were in fact in the lull before the storm. I went on a short outing to Exminster Marsh, there has been reports of Osprey and a Spoonbill, both would be good to see, particularly the Spoonbill which is a bird I have always wanted to add to my lifetime list. No sign of either but I took pictures of a Black-Tailed Godwit and watched a Little Ringed Plover. One of the Godwit pictures is here, it was in a small flock of a dozen or so with one single Bar-Tailed Godwit which I found a bit unusual. In summer plumage they are very attractive as you can see.
