Yesterdays Cetti walk to Exminster was the usual frustrating and “nearly” event. I had the clearest view yet of a lovely male literally 4 feet from me, I reacted instantly with the camera but it takes more that 3 or 4 seconds to point, focus and shoot and by that time he moved to the perch in this photo. As you can see the shots are still getting better though.
I heard Reed Warblers again and only briefly caught sight of one but this Sedge Warbler showed absolutely brilliantly. Notice that he is suffering from a “hazy eye” condition. It says something of my camera equipment that I can capture photos clearly and closely which enables you to see even eye conditions.
