The garden continues to have lots of activity on the bird front with possibly a record day for species. This again included the male Blackcap Warbler as well as Coal Tit, Blue Tit, Greenfinch, Goldfinch, Chaffinch and the usuals ie: Rook, Collared Dove, Blackbirds, Dunnocks, Herring Gull, Black Headed Gull, Wood Pigeon, Jackdaw, Magpie,Starlings, and Carrion Crow.
The Blue Tit photo is one of a pair that was eating berries/seeds from a Sumac Tree. This goes to prove that even plants that are taken for granted can provide food for birds at any time of the year.
