PHOTO OF THE DAY

At 0900 there was a lot of activity in the apple tree. A Blackbird and our regular Collared Dove who came down to the pond for a drink before returning to her/his favourite position. They were joined by this Wood Pigeon for a few minutes. The light at this time of day is awkward and from behind the subject which breaks all the rules of photography, never the less this is an interesting and quite successful capture.
