Very little activity except another sighting of the Coal Tits, which is notable, also Blackbirds, Collared Doves, Starlings and House Sparrows. I took photos in November of a very interesting and attractive Hoverfly (see image)…. I have now positively identified this as Platycheirus albimanus. This specimen is a female note extended ovipositor.
