After a few days away, now back home to Devon and a cold frosty snap. Activity in the garden has declined, but with temperatures just above freezing birds have included a Blackcap Warbler cock in the company of a small flock of tits. The Blackcap came to feed on a solitary apple which refuses to fall! Crows, Herring Gulls, Dunnock, several Blackbirds and a Robin The blackbirds came to feed on cotoneaster beries. The only insect was a White Tailed Bee Bombus Lucorum
