Very little activity in the garden this last 2 days. Weather has been cold and windy with bright conditions and periods of gloom and the odd light shower. Insect activity has been minimal with a few hoverflies still feeding on the Ivy blossoms. Birds, apart from a wren heard at dawn have been unremarkable with starlings, wood pigeon and herring gull passing over and/or settling on the roof tops.
